Dans le cadre de la stabilisation de l’est de la RDC, les organisations de Nations Unies ont remis au Gouvernement provincial un bâtiment abritant le centre de jeune de Bashali à Kitshanga. Un programme de l’ISSSS et du STAREC, dans le projet « Pamoja kwa maendeleo » Ndlr : Ensemble pour le développement, financé par l’UN HABIT et l’UNESCO et Exécuté par l’UNFPA. Ce centre va aider les jeunes à être informé, mais également contribuera à la cohésion sociale après deux décennies de conflit armé.

La journée du 19 février était caractérisée par la remise d’un bâtiment à la jeunesse de la chefferie de Bashali. C’est dans le cadre de la stabilisation de l’est de la République Démocratique du Congo en 2017 par la MONUSCO et les agences des Nations Unies notamment le PNUD, L’UNFPA, UN HABIT et l‘UNESCO. Retenons que Kitshanga est parmi les coins dont le conflit avait créé un terrain fertile aux groupes armés d’où sa stabilisation revêt une priorité.

Le centre de jeune construit dans cette localité fragilisée est une aubaine à la jeunesse de Bashali, car il rencontre les attentes des administrateurs pour ses administrés : « La jeunesse c’est l’avenir de demain, cette maison va aider la jeunesse pour des recherches dans la stabilisation et le développement pacifique face aux nombreuses sollicitations d’intégrer les groupes armés », a indiqué le chef de la localité. Ce centre est un cadre d’épanouissement pour la jeunesse de ce coin et ses environs grâce à laquelle ils vont y faire des recherches et des échanges sur la stabilisation et la cohésion pacifique, mais aussi un lieu d’échanges sociaux culturel notamment.

Recréer la cohésion sociale
L’engagement des organisations des Nations Unies aux côtés du gouvernement Congolais et les autorités coutumières pour la stabilisation constituent un ingrédient important de la paix dans cette partie du Nord Kivu longtemps meurtri par des conflits armés. Ce centre doté d’un équipement bureautique et énergie solaire est un espace de recherche et d’échanges pour les jeunes de Kitshanga est ses environs.

C’est ainsi que le conseil local de la jeunesse chefferie de Bashali qui n’a pas caché sa satisfaction, il a remercié l’UNFPA et d’autres partenaires qui ont participé à la construction de ce bâtiment : « Ce centre va nous faciliter les conditions d’échanges harmonieux, également grâce aux équipements nous doter, nous aurons la facilité d’accéder aux informations qui vont recrées la confiance et la cohésion sociale entre nous » affirme le représentant du conseil local de la jeunesse de la chefferie Bashali. Il a en outre remercié les autorités à tout le niveau pour avoir bien collaboré avec tous les partenaires pour la mise en œuvre de ce projet de stabilisation en territoire de Masisi.

finish, il a promis la bonne gestion de ce centre en bon père de famille en respectant scrupuleusement le guide de travail ou Manuel de procédure de gestion remise par Madame la Ministre Provinciale de la Jeunesse. Il convient de noter que, la cité de Kitshanga fait partie des bénéficiaires du programme de stabilisation de la zone prioritaire de l’ISSSS lancé en Juillet 2017.
