Dans le cadre de son plan d’appui aux associations de jeunes et de la société civile, conformément aux Résolutions 2250 (2015), 2419 (2018) et 2535 (2020) du Conseil de Sécurité des Nations Unies exhortant une plus grande implication des jeunes à la paix et à la sécurité, la section Affaires Civiles de la MONUSCO Goma en collaboration avec les partenaires étatiques et les autres composantes de la MONUSCO, a organisé, sur la période en revue, plusieurs activités en faveur des jeunes de la province du Nord Kivu.
Ces activités ont rassemblé 809 jeunes dont 246 filles dans les villes de Goma, Kitchanga, Masisi, Munigi et Sake. Elles émanaient des jeunes leaders et étaient axées sur les cinq piliers de la Résolution 2250 (2015) du Conseil des sécurité des Nations Unies (participation, protection, prévention, partenariat et réintégration locale).
