Vers les années 1960 plusieurs pays africains avaient accède à leurs souverainetés, mais certain sont mal parties le cas de mon pays la République Démocratique du Congo est une preuve 55 ans plus tard. Partant des événements qui avaient précédé et succéder la colonisation la RD Congo est resté un ventre mou, rien ne rattrape ses gigantesques ressource, moins encore sa grandeur.
Dans mon travail photographique je fais un lien avec la thématique des 11° Rencontres de Bamako « AFROTOPIA » Qui questionne les Africain notamment la République Démocratique du Congo par rapport à sa valeur sa grandeur au cœur de l’Afrique après plusieurs décennies de son accession à l’indépendance. Je m’interroge à travers les photos, est-ce que la vague des indépendances depuis les années 1960 était une utopie qui se donnait pour tâche de débusquer dans le réel des africains les vastes espaces panafricaniste si possible possible et les féconder ? Oui les Africains contribuent grandement dans la recherche de solution aux problèmes qui s’imposent dans le monde.
La thématique AFROTOPIA est une interpellation des Africain particulièrement de Congolais de se découvrir et de mettre en valeur ses potentialités sa grandeur et ses innovations.
Mon travail sous forme d’une monographie informative, interpellative, et introspective se subdivise en plusieurs sujets, qui reprennent d’une façon holistique à l’esprit de la thématique des 11° Rencontres de Bamako. Dans mon travail, je paraphrase le concept « AFROTOPIA » d’après Felwine Sarr écrivain Sénégalais : « Une utopie active qui se donne la tâche de débusquer dans le réel africain les vastes espace du possible et le féconder » L’Afrique est un continent porteur d’avenir qui regorge de richesses et de terre arables dont la jeune population représentera le quart de l’humanité en 2050, mais ce riche avenir ne sera pas sans une révolution radicale.
Mon travail vise à révolutionner un changement de l’homme africain par une présentation visuelle pour que chacun s’interroge dans son domaine, son espace et dans son temps enfin de dégager sa responsabilité qu’il ignore peut-être. Comme la photographie à le pouvoir de déplacer les gens, il a aussi le pouvoir d’inspirer et de susciter le changement, cela signifie un changement d’esprit, un changement de cœur, ou quelque chose de beaucoup plus.
