Une restitution de suivi du niveau d’application des recommandations issues des échanges sur la gestion transfrontalières de ressources halieutiques du Lac Edouard par les deux pays la RDC et l’Ouganda. Cette restitution faite par la fédération des comités des pêcheurs individuels du Lac Edouard (FECOPEILE) le 06 février 2020, Monsieur Josué KAMBASU MUKURA le secrétaire général était devant les professionnels des médias du Nord-Kivu.
Pendant la séance de cet atelier tenu à Kasese (Ouganda) du 03 au 04 février 2020, les parties prenantes réitèrent la mission assignée à ce cadre.
-Partager les informations sur les activités de pêche ayant des implications transfrontalières ;
-Contribuer à la promotion de la sécurité des pêcheurs et de leurs matériels du lac Édouard ;
-Organiser les réunions d’échanges sur la gestion transfrontalière des ressources halieutiques du lac Édouard en vue d’une exploitation durable ;
-Proposer aux gouvernements les règles de cogestion de la pêche à appliquer en matière de techniques, de respect des zones et des périodes de reproduction, d’utiliser des instants et de protection des espèces menacées ;.jpg)
-Proposer des mécanismes locaux de règlement pacifiques des différends;
-Contribuer à la sensibilisation des pêcheurs sur les pratiques de pêche durable.
Ensuite quelques recommandations ont été formulées au niveau régional comme au niveau des pêcheurs enfin au niveau technique.
Les parties prenantes aux travaux de cet Atelier conviennent de se rencontrer à Kasindi (RDC)pour évaluer le travail du cadre local d’échange et d’information.;
