Accompagné de plusieurs officiers des FARDC et de la PNC, le Gouverneur Militaire a fait le tour des rings de la vaccination à l’hôpital provincial du Nord Kivu pour recevoir sa première dose du vaccin FIZER. Après son passage sur le dit site, il s’est observé un engouement des personnes venant pour se faire vacciner. Il a invité toute la population du Nord Kivu à se faire vacciner, il a ensuite promis d’étendre l’opération de vaccination dans toutes les zones de santé de la province du Nord Kivu.
Quelques jours après la réception des doses du vaccin FIZER, la matinée du mercredi 06 octobre 2021 s’est caractérisée par le lancement du dit vaccin à l’hôpital provincial du Nord Kivu à Goma. Ce jour, le Gouverneur militaire le Général Constant NDIMA en prêchant par l’exemple à ses administrés, il s’est fait vacciné contre la Covid -19. Par la même occasion plusieurs officiers supérieurs des forces armés de la République Démocratique du Congo ainsi que ceux de la police Nationale Congolaise ont reçu chacun une dose du vaccin FIZER. Retenons c’est depuis Mars 2020 que cette pandémie a été déclarée en République Démocratique du Congo, le Nord Kivu était la deuxième province à être touché : « Goma est la deuxième ville la plus contaminée après Kinshasa qui était l’épicentre de la Covid-19. Comme la province du Nord-kivu compte environ onze à douze millions d’habitant depuis tout ce temps nous sommes tous témoins de comment cette maladie a ravagé des personnes. », A souligné le Gouverneur. Pour la protection de la population du Nord Kivu, le Gouvernement de la République du Congo a tout fait pour mettre à la disposition de sa population le vaccin », a confirmé le Général Gouverneur militaire de la province du Nord Kivu.

Pour lier l’utile à l’agréable devant caméra, le gouverneur militaire vacciné, il vient de lancer officiellement la campagne de vaccination en province du Nord Kivu. A travers les médias le gouverneur à rappelé à ses administrés sur la disponibilité de ce type de vaccin que la province a déjà réceptionné en RDC et particulièrement dans la province qu’il dirige : « Nous avons déjà reçu deux types de vaccins à savoir ASTRAZENICA et FIZER qui vient d’arriver ». Après la réception de sa dose de vaccin FIZER, il a invité la population de l’emboîter le pas, car se faire vacciner te protège ainsi que sa famille : « En donnant le gong comme on le dit dans notre jargon je voudrais voir toute la population du Nord Kivu, se vacciner, ce n’est pas une obligation, c’est volontaire, mais nous appelons la population à se faire vacciner, car lorsqu’on prend le vaccin, on protège sa communauté » dit-il.
Pendant ce temps nous avons observé un engouement, les gens venaient pour recevoir le vaccin la ceinture de la vaccination était pleine à craqué. L’inspecteur provincial de la santé du Nord Kivu n’a pas manqué de placer un mot autour de la performance de ce vaccin: « En se vaccinant on se protège et les autres, pour ce qui concerne ce vaccin en cour de campagne, retenons que nous avions commencé en avril dernier par ASTRAZENECA, maintenant nous venons de recevoir un lot de FISER »
De l’éligibilité et extasions de la vaccination
S’agissant de l’extension de la campagne de vaccination vers d’autre zone de santé de la province du Nord Kivu, l’inspecteur provincial de la santé rassure la population du Nord Kivu : « on vient de commencer la vaccination aujourd’hui pour les autres zones de santés et territoire de la province, ça va se faire le plus rapidement que possible dans une semaine, le temps que les équipes se déploie avec les équipements partout en province»
Sont éligibles au vaccin : «toute personne âgée de 18 ans et plus, la nouveauté pour ce type de vaccin même les femmes enceinte sont aussi éligibles nous a confirmé notre interlocuteur. En attendant le vaccin MODERNA plusieurs sites de vaccination ont été installés dans la Zone de santé de Goma et Karisimbi », nous a confié Hans BATEYI coordonnateur du programme élargi de la vaccination au nord Kivu. 
De l’autre côté des personnes ayant été vaccinés l’un d’eux s’exprime au micro de la Cruche Hebdo dans un message clair : « mon message est tout à fait clair, à tous les officiers de l’armé et de la Police Nationale Congolaise de suivre l’exemple de son excellence Monsieur le Gouverneur militaire et à la population de ne pas avoir peur de se faire vacciner cars sons se vacciner il y a risque de se contaminer à cette pandémie, continuions à se faire vacciné comme on l’avait fait pour EBOLA, en se vaccinant on pourra affronter cette maladie sans problème », conclut le Général Sylvain EKANGA.
