Internews veut mutualiser les efforts de la communauté et les acteurs de la riposte pour trouver la stratégie de la sensibilisation pour la vaccination contre la covid-19.
Samedi 29 juin, les médias, les acteurs de la riposte contre Covid-19, les autorités de Bases, la CREC, les personnes à mobilité réduite, les petits commerçants à la frontière, ils ont été invités à participer à une journée de réflexion autour des mesures à prendre pour la sensibilisation à la vaccination contre la Covid-19 en cette période de guerre entre le M23 et le FARDC à Rutshuru. Cette activité était organisée par Internews

Internews déterminé pour la vaccination
C’est maintenant ou jamais que les acteurs présents à cette journée de réflexion de mettre en place de nouvelles stratégies pour faire face à la 5ème vague de la Covid-19 annoncé il y a quelques semaines en RDC. En outre voir comment mettre la vaccination au même diapason que d’autre priorité. Par l’organisation de cette journée de réflexion, attend qu’un mécanisme de coordination soit renforcé par tous les acteurs et de placer la vaccination parmi les priorités humanitaires dans la province du Nord Kivu, car la question de la Covid-19 devient de plus en plus négligé non seulement par la communauté, mais également par les acteurs de la riposte. Visiblement il y a un relâchement des mesures barrières alors que nous traversons une 5ème Vague de la covid-19 et le Nord-Kivu en fait partie.
Pendant cette journée un membre de la riposte contre la Covid-19 a brossé succinctement l’évolution de la propagation de la Covid-19 en rappelant les mesure barrières il a également évoqué les statistiques et la manifestation de la 5ème vague et la tranche de personne le plus touchée dont le taux de létalité est de 5% dans toute la République Démocratique du Congo. Il a noté en passant les hommes sont plus touchés par cette vague. Il a en outre déploré que bien qu’en RDC il y a plusieurs types de vaccins hélas, le taux de la vaccination a baissé, car certaines personnes n’ont plus passé prendre leur deuxième dose.
De la communication face à la rumeur

En dépit de défit face à la riposte notamment l’insuffisance des ressources humaines et financier pour soutenir les activités de la riposte ce qui est la cause de relâchement des activités dans certain aires de santés. Les participants ont proposés l’implication des humanitaires dans la riposte contre la covid-19, la disponibilité de tout le type de vaccins, la formation d’acteurs communautaires dans la lutte la pandémie, la vulgarisation à travers le médias les mesure barrière, l’implication de tous les canaux des communications dans la sensibilisation contre la Covid-19, le renforcement des turbines populaires de sensibilisation de masse à travers des émissions publiques, étroite collaboration avec les médias, organisation des activités culturelles pour la sensibilisation communautaire, forte sensibilisation auprès de personnel soignants, sensibilisation dans les écoles et les universités sur la vaccination de la Covid-19.
