Plusieurs sensibilisateurs d’ArfriYAN RDC, ont été mobilisés un week-end dans le camp de sinistré de l’éruption volcanique de NYIRAGONGO pour sensibiliser des jeunes et femmes sur la pratique des naissance désirables, la lutte contre la violence basée sur le genre et les infections sexuellement transmissible. Samedi 02 octobres des jeunes sensibilisateurs d’AfriYAN, avait mobilisé des jeunes et femmes sinistrés de l’éruption volcanique hébergées dans l’enceinte de l’EP KAYEMBE pour une sensibilisation de masse de porte à porte. Elles étaient nombreuses, femmes enceintes et jeunes filles à l’âge de la procréation pour écouter la sage-femme de l’UNFPA pour la sensibilisation dans la lutte contre les infections sexuellement transmissibles et la lutte contre des grossesses précoces non désirées, mais aussi le planning familial et la bonne gestion de l’hygiène menstruelle. Cette sensibilisation est tombée à point nommé, pour les sinistrés de l’éruption volcanique du 22 mai 2021 vivant à l’EP KAYEMBE. Tenez, cette sensibilisation consistait à initier des hommes et des femmes pour adopter le bon planning familial et de la bonne utilisation des préservatifs.
La mâtiné de ce week-end avait été caractérisé par une sensibilisation de masse où environ 300 personnes, constituées en majorité des femmes et filles ont été très attentives à leurs interlocuteurs.
Des jeunes sensibilisateurs déployés dans le camp de KAYEMBE, sont passés de porte à porte sous la satisfaction du responsable d’AfriYAN RDC: « Ce n’est pas la première fois, c’est la deuxième fois, nous avions senti le besoin lors de notre passage ici, voilà on a jugé qu’il était important d’y revenir », à déclaré Elie KASENYA : « Nous remercions directement l’UNFPA c’est grâce à son appui nous arrivions à atteindre l’ objectif de cette activité », a-t-il indiqué. Pour la petite histoire cette activité rentre en marge de la commémoration de la journée internationale de la jeunesse célébrée par AfriYAN RDC en date du 27 août dernier qui s’est poursuivi avec la sensibilisation en masse.
AfriYAN RDC reste déterminé et prend les activités de sensibilisation à bras le corps pour atteindre l’objectif de zéro cas de violence basée sur le genre. Les participants à cette activité étaient toutes oreilles aux conseils de la sage-femme , les membres de la communauté également; Car à chaque instant ont pu interagit, et posaient des questions pour éclairer leurs lanternes quant à ce. Contente de cette sensibilisation cette femme allaitante s’est exprimée : “ j’ai été édifiée par cette sensibilisation surtout en ce qui concerne le planning familial . Des méthodes qu’AfriYAN nous a montrées, je veux désormais les pratiquer. En dépit du contexte dans lequel nous traversons la vie ne s’arrête pas pour autant, nous devons éviter de concevoir dans une telle condition, car la vie de nos enfants en dépend “, A déclaré KAHINDO Colette.
“Je remercie beaucoup AfriYAN pour cette sensibilisation qui est pour moi très bénéfique pour ma santé sexuelle “, Ajoute Colette. D’autre part, une femme toute contente tenant en mains un lot de préservatifs : « on vient de me donner, des préservatifs pour ma protection; ces préservatifs nous aident beaucoup dans l’espacement de naissance, mais également ça nous protège contre des maladies sexuellement transmissible, l’UNFPA et AfriYAN ont bien fait de penser à nous. Que Dieu les bénisse », Affirme cette autre femme. Cette journée, s’est clôturé plusieurs activités ludiques c’est ainsi que la communauté s’était exprimé.
