Face aux nombreux dérapages liés à la responsabilité sociale du journaliste par certains journalistes au Nord Kivu. La section provinciale de l’UNPC Nord Kivu a rappelé aux journalistes aux respects de quelques règles du métier. Notamment la responsabilité sociale du journaliste, les journalistes présents à cette activité ont pris acte et ont proposé quelque piste de solution au comité provincial de l’Union Nationale de presse du Congo.
C’est au cours d’une mâtinée d’échanges extraordinaire sur la responsabilité sociale de journaliste et la remise de cartes de presse et carnet jaune aux journalistes du Nord Kivu par le comité provincial de l’union Nationale de la presse du Congo présidé par Rosalie ZAWADI MASIKA.
A l’occasion d’une rencontre extraordinaire, la présidente du comité provincial de l’union Nationale de la presse du Congo UNPC Nord Kivu a remis des cartes de presse Nationale aux journalistes, elle a en même temps distribué le livre jaune aux journalistes concernés. Ensuite, elle a rappelé quelques règles du métier du journaliste notamment la Responsabilité Sociale du Journaliste et quelques règles à respecter. Ce qui a constitué le sujet principal pour cet échange.
Vous conviendrez que le livre jaune contient dans ses pages le code de déontologie des journalistes en République Démocratique du Congo, aussi d’autres codes par exemple le code de Munch. Madame la présidente de l’UNPC Nord Kivu a exhorté ses confrères et consœurs chevalier de la plume de bien lire cette brochure et de bien intérioriser son contenu. Il sied de noter, le Journaliste joue un rôle particulièrement important auprès de ses concitoyens dont il doit toujours avoir conscience.
Sa responsabilité sociale est forte. L’objectif prioritaire du journaliste est d’informer de façon à rendre ses lecteurs, auditeurs, téléspectateurs et internautes d’être plus conscient du monde dans lequel ils vivent.
Le journaliste n’est pas là pour jouer le rôle des fauteurs des troubles, de dresser les communautés les unes contre les autres et de brandir des accusations sans fondement. Après ces fructueux échanges, les journalistes présents à cette rencontre ont proposés au comité de l’UNPC Nord Kivu UNPC Nord Kivu quelques pistes de solutions comme prévention aux dérapages déjà signalé pendant l’exercice du métier de journaliste œuvrant Nord Kivu. C’est entre autre : l’organisation des sessions et atelier ayant comme thème les aspects déontologiques et autres matières régissant le métier noble du journalisme.
« Que le comité présidé par madame la présidente Rosalie ZAWADI MASIKA trouve un moyen pour organiser de séances échanges, des ateliers sous forme de vulgarisation du code de déontologie du journaliste Congolais et d’élaborer de mesures contraignantes et de garde-fou à tous les journalistes égaré », a proposé un journaliste.
