Nord-Kivu/Bunagana : Plusieurs journalistes bloqués dans les installations de leur radio après l’attaque des rebelles craignent pour leur sécurité.
Les journalistes de la Radio la voix de Mikeno émettant à partir de Bunagana, bourgade située à la frontière congolaise avec l’Ouganda, en territoire de Rutshuru, et d’autres qui étaient en reportage dans cette partie du Nord-Kivu, sont bloqués depuis ce lundi 28 Mars dans les installations de la radio Mikeno à la suite de l’attaque des alentours de la cité par les rebelles du Mouvement du 23 Mars dit M23.
Craignant pour leur sécurité ,ils sont regroupés dans les installations de la radio à Bunagana, après que la majorité des habitants ait pris fuite à Kisoro, localité proche sur le territoire de l’Ouganda.
Daniel Shematsi, journaliste à la radio UPDECO, une chaîne émettant à Rutshuru, parti en reportage dans cette partie avec un caméraman indépendant, indique à JED qu’ils ne savent pas se mouvoir car les rebelles encerclent la zone.
Jusqu’à présent, aucune attaque n’est encore dirigée vers la radio souligne-t-il dans sa retraite forcée à côté de ses collègues. Ils ne savent pas se ravitailler en produits de première nécessité car
la cité est déserte. Les journalistes sont à la recherche d’une ouverture pour quitter la zone.
