120 sinistrés de l’éruption volcanique du 22 mai 2021 ont réceptionné des logements sociaux. Ce geste philanthropique est l’œuvre du gouverneur intérimaire de la province de Lualaba. Cet acte est un soulagement à la souffrance pour ces nombreuses familles qui passaient des nuits sous la belle étoile depuis plusieurs mois. Ces sinistrés jadis qui vivaient dans de bivouac, ils sont désormais abrités dans des logements sociaux de deux chambres et salon.
En dépit des efforts fourni par le donateur, depuis l’occupation dans leur nouveau site situé dans les encablures du territoire de Nyiragongo, ces derniers viennent de passer quatre jours sans un seul goutte d’eau leurs réservoir sont vide.
Ces déplacés lancent un cri d’alarme et demande aux autorités ainsi que les humanitaire de tourner leurs regards dans ce site nouvellement occupé par ces familles qui avaient perdu leurs logements et champs.
Satisfait de cette dotation le sinistré de l’éruption de Nyiragongo du 22 mai 2021 remercie le Gouverneur intérimaire de Lualaba Madame FIFI MASUKA qui a financé la construction de ces maisons dans cette cité dite « de la cohésion nationale » Au total 120 maisons quelque pavillon pour le marché et des toilettes; à l’entrée de cette cité on peut facilement voir une clôture en grillage devant et à gauche un terrain de basketball, une infirmerie, un poste de la police et une ligne de courant électrique.
À l’entrée déjà à droite un dispositif de réservoirs pour une adduction d’eau hélas vide : « On nous a promis que des camions passerait pour ravitailler ce réservoir d’eau, mais déjà ça fait quatre jours que les camions ne sont pas arrivés on ne sait pas pourquoi », s’interroge un occupant de cette cité ? Toutefois, les bénéficiaires n’ont pas manqué de présenter leur gratitude : « Nous remercions maman Fifi pour ce geste humanitaire qu’elle vienne de poser en nous offrant des maisons, car nous avions passé plus d’une année dans des case de fortune », indique une femme. 
Nonobstant la dotation des logis offertes, plusieurs ménages d’autres sinistrés de l’éruption du volcan Nyiragongo croupisse encore dans une misère sombre dans les sites provisoires disséminé dans le territoire de Nyiragongo sans aucune assistance humanitaires qui demandent l’appui du gouvernement et ses partenaires humanitaires : « En dehors de ces logis nous n’avons ni lit ni meuble grave encore quelque chose à mettre sous la dent que les humanitaire pensent à nous, car à cause de cette souffrance humanitaire certains, parmi nous meurt », Regrette une sinistrés.
