COMMUNIQUÉ N°/Réf: SMB/GM-NK/1205/2019
La Société Minière de Bisunzu a le regret d’annoncer à l’opinion publique tant nationale qu’internationale qu’une attaque à visé son périmètre minier en territoire de Masisi, groupe- ment Mupfuni-Matanda à Bibatama.
Cette attaque a eu lieu le 11 mai 2019 vers 22h30 près du site minier D4 Gakombe et était dirigée contre la Police des Mines détachée sur le périmètre minier de SMB.
Le bilan de cette attaque est d’un assaillant tué et une arme automatique récupérée.
La justice s’est déployée depuis ce matin 12 mai 2019 pour établir les circonstances de cet événement malheureux et punir les responsables.
Aucun site minier de SMB Sarl ni ses dépôts miniers n’ont été affectés et les activités d’exploitation se déroulent normalement dans le site minier.
La SMB déplore cet acte ignoble et condamne cette acte visant le vol des minerais. Notre société soutient la manifestation de la vérité dans cette attaque contre ses intérêts en terri- toire de Masisi.
